Roam Radar is an independent, traveler-focused dashboard for Canadians. It tracks international roaming coverage across major carriers to help clarify where coverage may apply before leaving the tarmac. Search by country or browse the interactive map to see which destinations offer roaming coverage under a specific carrier.

Why It Was Built

Millions of Canadians travel internationally every year and face the same silent trap: not knowing what their phone plan actually covers until they land resulting in surprise roaming charges. Carrier roaming pages are often buried in fine print, outdated PDFs, and complex portals. Checking coverage should be as simple as looking at a map, which is why Roam Radar centralizes this data into a single, interactive reference guide.

No. Roam Radar is open and free to use without any sign-up, login, or account required. Just open the map, pick a carrier, and start exploring. There is nothing to install and nothing to manage.

Coverage data is sourced from publicly available carrier information and reviewed on a regular basis. Each carrier listing includes a Last Updated date so you can see at a glance how recent the information is. Before traveling, a final check with your carrier is always a good idea.
